 Hello Internets!
HEY KIDS! Been a little busy with school. I took out the comments on the site, thanks to some terrifying things I learned this year about jurisdiction and interactive websites! Who knows, I might come across, oh, the ability to write PHP comments over the summer. :) Just sayin'.
Oh, and this means a script will no longer load at startup. Much better.

Most Pi Moment
The Most Pi Moment in our lifetime will be March 14, 2015, at 9:26:54 am. If you want to be really obnoxious, it's 9:26:53.59 am.
Yesterday was e day, which I missed. There is also nothing delicious to make on e day anyway, though i did make an addictive dark chocolate buttercream the other day. Yum.
And I LOLd my cats, so that's now available in the left menu.

I gave WordPress a fair chance.
Really, I did. I attempted two posts on it, and in neither could I figure out how to properly insert links or create a line break. So, I am back to editing with raw HTML, and I couldn't be happier. While I understand that WordPress has its place and audience, this is not the site for it, and I am not the audience for it.
I also got rid of the Google text ads. They broke the continuity of the site and made it look cheap. I did not feel like redesigning my fantastic new layout in order to accomodate them.
Additionally, in the time between posts, I have learned that I am not my Linux's admin. I have gotten two programs to install successfully. The rest wind up melting down the whole system, so I've just given up. I still use my Linux as my primary OS, I just don't manage it anymore. It's good to have programmer friends. :) That's a THANK YOU, MATT!
Also in the time between posts, I have done the following (in a rough order):
1. Attended one funeral and two weddings.
2. Quit one of my jobs and not replaced it. 3. Studied for, taken, and received the results of the LSAT. 4. Gotten a new car. 5. Gotten the two new Matthew Good cds. 6. Moved. 7. Gone to Vegas. 8. Driven to Ohio. 9. Visited Nashville. 10. Finished Fable twice over. 11. Learned how to make shortening icing. That's about it.

Updates
Added a link to the gallery of Midnight Bakery projects in the main menu. Soon will be adding a page dedicated to the Midnight Bakery itself.
The "Midnight Bakery" is how I am describing my baking experiments (cooking experiments are just called "dinner"). I started baking because I got sick of the fake ingredients in boxed cakes and commercial cookies, and because it's just fun!

PI DAY 2007
 Happy Pi Day! I have bought cherry pies to celebrate 3.14 for the past two years, and this year I decided to bake my own. The crust is homemade, and the filling is from the grocery store. I baked it in a casserole dish because I do not yet own a pie plate, though the casserole dish does have its own lid... Maybe I'm on to something!
